The DC metro area has 3 accessible airports, but we recommend BWI because it has an abundance of direct flight options and is the closest to Frederick, MD. The drive from BWI to Frederick is just under an hour! If you prefer another airport, Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA) and Dulles International Airport (IAD) are both around 1 hour and 15 minutes from Frederick.

Our hotel block is at the Hampton Inn Frederick on Buckeystown Pike. We have rooms available under our block at a discounted rate of $205 per night. The default dates are for 10/17/25-10/19/25, but you can adjust to meet your needs! **You must secure your reservation by September 17th, 2025 to get our rate**, but we recommend booking your room as soon as possible. Shuttle
From Hampton Inn to Walker's Overlook
October 18, 2025 4:30 pm - 10:30 pm
We'll be providing a shuttle between our room block at the Hampton Inn Frederick and our wedding venue. The shuttle will depart for the ceremony promptly at 4:30 pm and will leave the venue at the end of the night between 10:30 and 10:45 pm. If you're staying at another hotel or rental, you're still welcome to pick up the shuttle from the Hampton Inn, but please let us know when you RSVP so that we can ensure there's a seat for everyone!

The Visitation Hotel is a luxury boutique hotel that recently opened in Frederick. While we don't have a room block at this hotel, it's a lovely place to stay and offers accessibility to everything downtown Frederick has to offer. If you choose to stay at the Visitation, note that they only offer 65 rooms and are likely to fill up quickly!

We recommend staying somewhere in downtown Frederick (about 20 minutes south of our venue in Walkersville) for the best experience. October is a popular wedding month in the area, so we recommend booking your rental as soon as possible!
