When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by Saturday, September 13th, 2025.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 5:30 pm. We recommend arriving at least 30 minutes early to mingle and find a seat. Please see the "Schedule" page of our website for the complete details about our wedding events!

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Cocktail attire. We recommend knee length or midi dresses, elegant jumpsuits or pantsuits, and suits/sport coats - tie optional! Weather permitting, the ceremony will be outside, and the temperature in Walkersville, MD is typically in the mid-upper 60s in October. We'll be providing warm beverages, but please dress accordingly!

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your invitation indicates that you have a plus one, you're welcome to bring a date! Unfortunately, we can only accommodate the number of guests we've invited, so please check your invitation.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Please check your invitation for the names of the guests who are invited. Unfortunately, we can only accommodate guests who are included on the invitation!

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Yes! Our hotel block and other lodging recommendations are listed on the "Travel" page of our website.

Question

What are my transportation options to and from the venue?

Answer

Our venue has ample parking if you plan to drive. We'll also be providing transportation to and from our hotel block at the Hampton Inn Frederick (see "Travel" page for more details). Additionally, rideshare services are available in the area, but Frederick is a popular travel and wedding destination in October, so availability could be limited. Please be responsible if you plan to consume alcohol!

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes! Your RSVP will have a place to indicate food allergies and dietary restrictions. We'll do our best to accommodate you and ensure that everyone has something to eat. If you have any concerns about the food, please reach out to Amanda or Zach!
