The Westin Chicago North Shore
This hotel is really close to Camp Dan Beard and where we got a block of rooms. We'll also have shuttles to and from the hotel and Camp Dan Beard on 8/31. SHUTTLE INFORMATION: We have shuttles arranged through the Westin for the celebration. The shuttle they provide fits 11 people per trip; they'll be making multiple trips before and after to accommodate everyone staying at the Westin. - To Camp Dan Beard: First shuttle leaves at 3:30PM and will pick folks up ~every 15 minutes till the last shuttle at 4:45PM. The first shuttle at 3:30PM will need to be mostly immediately family (as well as Liz & Max). Shuttle #1: 3:30PM Shuttle #2: 3:45PM Shuttle #3: 4:00PM Shuttle #4: 4:15PM Shuttle #5: 4:30PM - To The Westin: First shuttle leaves Camp Dan Beard at 10:15PM and will pick folks up ~every 15 minutes till 11:30PM. Shuttle #1: 10:15PM Shuttle #2: 10:30PM Shuttle #3: 10:45PM Shuttle #4: 11:00PM Shuttle #5: 11:15PM

Camp Dan Beard
There are 5 cabins that hold up to 8 people (bunk beds) and 1 cabin that holds up to 10 people (bunk beds) at Camp Dan Beard. There is also plenty of space for tents as well. You are welcome to stay at no cost to you. If you are interested in this lodging, please let us know in your RSVP! There are a limited number of cabin beds, so it will be first come-first serve. We are considering staying in a cabin that night as well! PLEASE NOTE: It's a camp, so the cabins only provide a firm twin size mattress on the beds. You'll need to bring your own pillow, sheet/blankets and/or sleeping bag.

Hampton Inn Chicago North-Loyola Station
If you want to stay in Chicago, we suggest this spot. It's off the Loyola Red Line stop which will get you downtown. It's about a 35 - 40 minutes drive to Camp Dan Beard. We, however, don't have a block at this hotel.

Additional Hotels - Evanston
There are multiple hotels off of the Davis Purple Line stop in Evanston, IL. The Purple line will also get you into Chicago and is about a 30 minute drive to Camp Dan Beard.
