When should I RSVP by?

Answer

RSVP’s are closed! Thank you so much for your responses.

Will I get a Save The Date in the mail?

Answer

No. We are sending out all Save The Dates virtually. You do not need to wait to RSVP though! Please go to our website and RSVP as soon as you know to help us with our guest count.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Though we’d love to see your children, due to the limited capacity of our venue, we are only able to extend an invitation to guests 21+. We hope that with this notice, you will be able to make arrangements and attend our wedding.

Am I allowed to bring a plus one?

Answer

It will be notated on your official invitation if you are invited to bring a plus one. Due to limited capacity we cannot provide plus one's for all guests.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes! The dress code is semi formal. Tuxes and gowns are welcome, and so are suits and cocktail dresses. Jeans and sneakers are not permitted. Please note, white is not an acceptable color to wear.

Can I wear white?

Answer

Absolutely not! If you show up in white you may be asked to leave or may be given a ridiculous outfit to wear over your apparel. So choose wisely! ;)

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The wedding ceremony and reception will be indoors. For cocktail hour there will be space both inside and outside.

Is the ceremony and reception in the same location?

Answer

Yes. We will be doing the ceremony and reception at the same venue. During the cocktail hour the ceremony space will be flipped for the reception and guests will be able to enjoy cocktail hour both downstairs (indoors) or outside.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

No. The two hotels we have room blocks at are directly across the street from the venue (.1 miles). However, there are parking spaces closer to the venue as well as a wheelchair accessible entrance for those who need it. The venue is also walking distance to a MARTA station if anyone prefers to book at a different hotel and use public transportation.

Have you reserved hotel blocks?

Answer

Yes! We have hotel blocks at two nearby hotels. Please see our travel page for information on how to book at either of those. Please note, the sooner you book your rooms the better as they can fill up.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

We would rather you be early than late! Generally we would say allow at least 15 minutes before the ceremony to get upstairs, say hi to people, and get seated in time. There is also an elevator for those who prefer not to take the stairs.

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Of course! We aren't monsters! ;) We'll have a variety of beer, wine, bubbly, cocktails, and of course...bourbon.

What is the weather like in the area?

Answer

In early October the weather is normally in the 60's-70's in Atlanta so it can still be pretty warm! Layers are always a good idea.

What type of food will be at the wedding?

Answer

We'll be serving hors d'oeuvres at cocktail hour followed by a buffet for dinner.

What do I do if I have a dietary restriction or food allergy?

Answer

Please let us know on your RSVP if you have any food allergies as well as if you have any dietary requirements. We will let our caterer know so we can accommodate. (Examples: Nut allergy, vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, etc)

Where should we bring/send our wedding gift?

Answer

Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for! If you would like to honor us with a gift, you can have it delivered to our home at 1140 Austin Ave NE, Atlanta, GA 30307. A wedding card box will also be at our reception. We also have a registry page with options to donate to our honeymoon or first home fund.

Answer

We have a tab on our website that includes our Honeymoon fund, First House Fund, and additional registry gift options.

What time will your wedding reception end? Is there an after-party?

Answer

The reception will end at 8pm EST. Yes, the party will continue after we close down the reception! The venue is located on Decatur Square which has multiple bars and food places open late.

Will there be other events to attend on the wedding weekend?

Answer

Yes! There is a golf outing on Friday and a welcome party at the hotel on Saturday! We will also be adding some great options for things to do in Atlanta while you are here! There is SO much to do and the wedding is right by a MARTA train station.

Can I post wedding photos on social media?

Answer

Yes, just be sure to tag us! We will also be providing QA codes for all guests to upload their photos to so they're all in one place. We can't wait to see what you capture!

Where will wedding updates be posted?

Answer

We will be updating the website as we go along. Any urgent updates will also be communicated via text and email.

Question

Will there be food provided at the Welcome Event the night before the wedding?

Answer

No, there will not be food provided. However, there are food options at the hotel bar and there is a restaurant attached to the lobby if you'd like to have dinner there beforehand. The Bride and Groom will also include recommended dinner options in your hotel welcome bags.
