Flight
Colorado has a handful of airports, but DIA is definitely the easiest for domestic and international flights. From there, it is 1 hour 45 minute drive to the resort.
Travel Note
If you are not interested in renting a car, the Summit Express runs every hour and will take you directly to the resort from the airport and vice-versa. You can save $10.00/ticket if you book with groups of 3+. You also have the option of getting a private charter shuttle with a group of 10+. The shuttle trip is 2-2.5 hours.
Travel Note
An inter village shuttle will be running to all bus stops in East, Center, and West Village. The shuttle will be running from 7am-10pm daily. Hours will be extended until 11pm on the Wedding Day. Specific time schedules are posted at each bus stop. The Summit Stage is a free bus that can take you to Frisco, Breckenridge, Dillon, and Silverthorne if you are looking for alternative activities and/or lodging options. Guests interested in securing the group rate are responsible for phoning in the reservation through Copper Mountain Resort's toll free number (above). 1 bedroom, 2 bedroom, and 3-4 bedroom condos and townhomes available through Copper Mountain Resort. Please use the code, 6275, and reference Spengler Mottet Wedding, for the special rate. See website for lodging options. *The wedding reception is out of East Village at Copper Station but most activities and restaurants are located in Center Village. Almost all buildings in East Village are less than a 5 minute walk from the venue. Guests are encouraged to book in East Village. See the village map for details: https://www.coppervacations.com/sites/default/files/uploads/villagemap.jpg If you would like to book a specific unit there is an additional 15% unit specific upgrade fee added. You can visit the website to search for rooms by village. If there is a particular unit you would like, you need to let the reservations agent know. If you prefer to be in the same building as someone, you can let the reservations agent know at time of booking. Rooms are categorized in (3) levels, Gold, Silver and Bronze. Silver is more family friendly (offering lots of bedding and pet friendly units) and Bronze has no elevators in the buildings.
