If you have any other questions, other than those we have listed here, please reach out to the mother of the bride, Denise, at (770)-823-0316.
Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP as soon as you know you are attending; however, all final RSVPs are due by August 1st.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Black Tie. Gentlemen, please wear a tuxedo. Ladies, a floor-length evening gown or ball gown is perfect, any color, and is NOT required to be black. We look forward to seeing everyone in their finest attire!

Question

When does the ceremony start, and what is the venue setting?

Answer

Please arrive by 4:45 PM. The ceremony will start at 5:00 PM and is planned to be outdoors. In the event of inclement weather, it will be moved indoors. The reception will follow indoors, featuring open-air elements and fireplaces.

Question

May guests take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We respectfully request no photography during the ceremony. Professional photos will be shared with guests following the wedding.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We kindly ask that guests only bring a date or plus-one if their name is specifically included on the invitation. We are unable to accommodate additional guests beyond those listed.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We kindly request no children at the wedding. Thank you so much for understanding.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

A complimentary shuttle will transport guests staying in downtown Highlands, with pick-up locations at Old Edwards Inn (16 Church St.) and 200 Main (200 Main St.) beginning at 4:00 PM for the ceremony. On Wedding Day only, an additional shuttle will be available for guests staying at Skyline Lodge beginning at 4:00 PM for the ceremony.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Guests are not permitted to drive to the venue, as parking is not available.

Question

Where should I stay while in Highlands?

Answer

Our recommended hotels are listed under the Travel tab; however, numerous Airbnb and VRBO options are also available in Highlands. Kindly ensure that any rental is within walking distance, as ride-share services such as Uber and Lyft are not offered locally. We advise securing accommodations as soon as possible, as Highlands is a highly desirable weekend destination.

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes! You can list any dietary restrictions on the online RSVP form or on your physical RSVP card, and we’ll be sure to accommodate them.

Question

What's the weather typically like?

Answer

While mountain weather can fluctuate, September in Highlands generally experiences daytime highs in the mid-70s and evening lows in the low-50s. We would highly suggest a wrap or jacket.
