Every aspect of our wedding weekend will be outdoors! Welcome party, wedding, reception, farewell brunch - everything will be outside.
Yes! A shuttle service will be provided to and from The Vinland Hotel in downtown Solvang. There is no parking at the venue so everyone will need to take the shuttle. The shuttle will be running every hour from the reception back to the main hotel for those who forget their dancing shoes!
While we adore your children, our wedding is an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us.
Our wedding is black tie optional. It's a party so we would love for you to get dressed up! What Does Black Tie Optional Mean? A black tie optional dress code isn't as confusing as it sounds (we promise!). It means that guests have the option of wearing their most formal attire (think: an evening gown or tuxedo) but may also choose to wear a formal suit or midi/maxi dress instead. Generally, a black tie optional dress code means that the couple and their wedding party will be dressed in black tie. It's therefore courteous for guests to reflect this level of formality in their own attire.
