Question
Can I book a room at 29 Palms Inn?
Answer
We would literally love for everyone to stay at the Inn, but unfortunately there is quite limited space that we've mostly reserved for family and those involved in the wedding. If rooms do open up we will be sure to let you know. In the meantime we recommend looking into booking accommodations ahead of time. Please explore our travel page for more details on some spots we like!

Can I bring my kids??

Very fair question! While this won't be a strictly NO KIDS wedding, we are suggesting that if you have the means to come child free that is the preference! Not only do we feel this is an excuse for you to be fully present for the weekend, but unfortunately space is limited at the venue and we are near capacity. We have already discussed this with some of our relatives and friends and are happy to accommodate in whatever way we can so please reach out if you have more questions! As an FYI some people are bringing children for the weekend (great!) but will find child care for Saturday evening so we can look into having a babysitter on site that night if that seems feasible.

Will there be ample parking and/or transportation to the venue?
Answer
There is plenty of parking at the venue if you have a car. Carpooling is also a great option! There are also ride share apps as well as a few local taxi company's we will provide the names for.

What's the weather like??

We picked October for a reason....hoping for moderately warm temps during the day (up to mid 80s) but be prepared for cooler temperatures at night and early morning (mid 50s). Desert weather can be a little unpredictable! So please check the weather ahead of time. All events are outdoors so plan to bring some layers for the evening!

What should I wear??

The weekend overall is very casual - think poolside outfits, light layers, comfy shoes for walking around (or hiking if you want!). Most, if not all activities will be outdoors on grass or dirt roads. Friday night is a semi-casual poolside hang - feel free to dress up OR to wear whatever's comfortable. Bring a bathing suit if you want to jump in the pool! The ceremony/reception on Saturday is flexible cocktail attire. Bright colors & desert vibes welcome (linens, cowboy boots, bright prints, etc., there are no rules!). Comfortable shoes highly encouraged for dancing!

How will we get to you from the airport??

Please please please reach out if you are traveling from outside California and have questions about getting to the desert. We have many people with cars driving from LA and would love to coordinate some rides for our out of towners. There is also the option to rent a car so you have more freedom throughout the weekend. We strongly suggest looking into flying directly to Palm Springs if possible as that will cut out the LA traffic of it all.

I'm feeling outdoorsy, what are some hikes you recommend??

We love the idea of supporting and exploring the nearby national park! Below are a few hikes as recommended by Spencer's parents...feel free to explore the Joshua Tree National Park website as posted in the "Things To Do" page for a more detailed list.
