Flight options, hotel blocks, and other suggestions for staying on the island!

Flight

Palma de Mallora Airport

SWISS Airlines out of SFO was a great experience this Summer; we flew from SFO to Zurich (11 hours) and from Zurich to Palma (2 hours) where we were served two small meals on the flights in and out of Zurich. Overall, we would recommend this airline and flight route. All other guests not flying out of SFO will want to ensure they arrive at the Palma de Mallorca airport. You lose about a day of traveling getting to the island so please keep that in mind for the schedule of events! If you have any questions about flights, please reach out to Marissa, Spencer or Sondra. If you are checking bags, make sure you get to the Palma airport early for the return flight. This line can get pretty backed up.

Hotel

Various Options

Below are a lost of hotel options in Palma (hotel options going from least expensive to most expensive); Palma is a very lively city with a lot to explore. It is about a 25-minute drive to the venue and will be the central meeting point for the shuttles throughout the weekend. If you or your travel companions will not be staying in one of these hotels or a nearby hotel (ex. staying at an AirBnB in Palma ora neighboring town) please let Marissa know. We are encouraging guests to arrive in Palma on Thursday to allow for adjusting to the time difference and be able to make it to our Welcome Drinks event on Friday! If you or your significant other is in the wedding party, please arrive in Palma on Wednesday; Marissa will be reaching out with more details! Rental Car

Various car rental companies are available out of the Palma Airport

Mallorca is very drivable! You may want to rent a car if you are planning to extend your stay on the island outside of the wedding. You can also get away with taxis and public transportation if you are looking to avoid a car rental. Ubers are on the island but are very expensive and typically only do inner-city travel. Note that a lot of the rentals are manuals, so be sure to specify that you want an automatic if a manual will not work for you! Also note that International Driver's Permits are needed to drive in Mallorca.
