If you know much about our story, you know that our relationship pretty much started and grew into what it is today over beers at Junkyard. We can't recommend it enough and hope you have time to stop by!
Spencer's favorite spot for brunch--and Lauren has a soft spot for the "Dinner in Dublin," too. We love to pair our breakfast there with a raspberry mimosa, or if you're stopping by later Smithwicks is Lauren's favorite beer from her time in Ireland!
Our community is so lucky to have access to the Hjemkomst Center (and the attached Clay County Historical Society). While we recommend checking out the ship, their rotating exhibits are always well done and give fantastic insight into the history of our community. Additionally, this is a great access point for the Moorhead River Corridor--a mixed use path that that we love walking, biking, and running along. If you happen to find the informative signs along the way, scan the QR code and you'll be able to take a look at one of Spencer's coolest projects from work!
Our Venue! While you'll be able to see some of the museum during our cocktail hour and reception, there won't be any gallery access. If you want to check out the art stop by during their open hours for FREE and check out some of the wonderful art we have access to here in Fargo/Moorhead.
Even if beer isn't your thing, Drekker Brewing and Brewhalla are absolutely a must-see while you're in the area. It has food, shops, plants, coffee, and probably more that we don't even know about at this point.
A truly unique pizza place with enough options to entertain both the pickiest and most adventurous eaters. Plus, who doesn't love to color on the table?
More art! It can be shocking to folks who aren't familiar with the Fargo/Moorhead community, but we have two wonderful public art museums available to us, with the Rourke being on the Minnesota side of the river.
Probably the coolest bar in town (if you ask us, and this is our wedding, so I guess you are!). Chill vibes, fun cocktails, and Hamm's on tap.
