Spencer and I both attended the University of South Carolina, so naturally we didn’t meet until a year after we graduated at a bar in Buckhead, GA. We decided to live together in Atlanta after a few beers, and spent the next 3 years smoking exotic meats, living and dying by every pitch in a Tuesday evening non-conference Gamecocks baseball game, and taking the occasional day off of work to have an Alabama Wednesday. Spencer stood next to me at my wedding, and I couldn’t be more honored to stand beside him as he and Katie kick off the next chapter of their lives.

Katie and I first met at cheer tryouts my freshman year of college, and she instantly took me under her wing. A few months later, I found a sisterhood with her in Zeta, and from then on she’s been such a meaningful part of my journey. She’s even the reason I met my husband! Katie has shaped my life in more ways than I can count, and I’m so grateful to be by her side now as she begins this next chapter with Spencer.
