These are some of our favorite places to explore in the Raleigh area! Spencer and Catherine have enjoyed events at these locations and hope you will have time to check them out.

Located in downtown Raleigh, this is a great science and nature museum that Spencer and Catherine really enjoyed. The museum has fantastic interactive activities for kids (big and small).

North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences

Right across from the Museum of Natural Sciences, history buffs would greatly enjoy visiting this museum located in downtown Raleigh.

North Carolina Museum of History

Home to Spencer and Catherine's favorite NHL team, the Carolina Hurricanes, NC State Wolfpack basketball, and host to many more concerts and events, this is a great large venue to check out when in town.

PNC Arena

Spencer and Catherine have seen two Broadway shows here. All of the seats offer a great view of the main stage, and the acoustics are fantastic.

Durham Performing Arts Center

Love animals like Spencer and Catherine? The NC Zoo has 10 miles of paved walking trails, featuring animals from around the world in habitats made to be as natural as possible.

North Carolina Zoo

Located in Raleigh not far from the airport, this museum features many works of art, and often with rotating exhibits.
