Whether you’re here for a few days or an extended trip, these are some of our favorite things to do and places to explore. If you have extra time during your visit, Utah is home to five incredible national parks! From the towering red cliffs of Zion National Park to the unique rock formations of Arches National Park, they're perfect for hiking, sightseeing, and experiencing some of the most beautiful landscapes in the country. If you're extending your trip, we highly recommend visiting one (or more)!

Antelope Island State Park

We went here for our first hike after we moved to Utah. Driving or hiking, you'll get fantastic views of the Wasatch Front and the Great Salt Lake, as well as the chance to see buffalo that roam the island!

Zion National Park

Zion is about a 4 hour drive from Salt Lake City. Entrance fee to all national parks is $35 per vehicle, or you can purchase an 'America the Beautiful' pass if you expect to visit multiple parks. It costs $80 per vehicle and grants full-year access to all US national parks!
