Travel Note
George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH) is the larger of the two and serves as a hub for United Airlines, offering a wide range of domestic and international flights. Major U.S. carriers like American Airlines, Delta Air Lines, Southwest Airlines, and Alaska Airlines also operate out of IAH, providing extensive connectivity to cities across the country. It's about a 45 min drive, and there is no public transportation option.
Travel Note
William P. Hobby Airport (HOU) is smaller and is known for being a major hub for Southwest Airlines. The majority of its domestic flights are operated by Southwest, although some flights are also offered by American Airlines and Delta Air Lines. HOU primarily focuses on domestic travel, with some international flights to Mexico and the Caribbean destinations. It's about a 20 minute drive, and there is also no public transportation option.
