Question

Are there any hotels in walking distance to the shul for shabbat?

Answer

The closest hotel is over 5 miles away, and the wedding hotel is seven. Please note that shabbat is home hospitality, and though we would like to have invited everyone, if your RSVP doesn't include Shabbat Dinner, we will be glad to see you at the wedding, but unfortunately, we don't have space for Shabbat.

Question

What will I miss if I fly out on Sunday?

Answer

The latest flight out to Chicago is 10 pm - that's leaving the shul at 815 pm at the absolute latest - so you'd probably only make the Chuppah and shmorg. The latest flight out to NYC is 8 pm - that's leaving the shul at 615 pm at the absolute latest - so you'd have to leave about the end of the Chuppah.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

The wedding is a cocktail attire. Synagogue events are business attire. We ask that women cover their shoulders while in synagogue.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Though we would love to share this event with everyone, only those listed on the invitation are invited.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Unfortunately, we can only accommodate children of the wedding party. If you need a babysitter, please contact elise@passy.us.
