August 8th 2020 We met at an engagement party for our friends Matt and Jessica Mosak. Everyone else at the party will tell you that we hit it off right away leaving us (and Matt apparently) the only ones naive to the story that was about to unfold. The one thing we both knew is we enjoyed talking to the other. Lucky for me, Spencer took the leap of faith to message me a few days later and one might say the rest is history.

March 5th 2022 We got engaged at the Cleveland Botanical Gardens during one of our trips to look at graduate school programs. The gardens were displaying their orchid show and I (Spencer) suggested Abby and I get tickets as "a way to explore the area". About half way through I realized we were the only ones in the room and decided this was it! I asked Abby to marry me and she immediately said yes!
