Parents of the Bride
I honestly do not even know where to begin with these two. They have made so many sacrifices and have worked so hard to give myself and my siblings every opportunity possible, all the while keeping us together as a close-knit, loving family. Being around my parents and our family always means lots of laughs, support, and and endless supply of my mom's delicious food. I am forever grateful to have them as my parents and to be apart of our family. They have always wanted what is best for me and, therefore, have loved and encouraged my relationship with Spencer from the beginning. I am so grateful to have them with us through the entire wedding process.
Parents of the Groom
Bob and Linda are some of the kindest people that you will ever meet. From the moment we first met, I have never once not felt like a welcomed part of their family due to their hospitality, generosity, and overall friendly demeanor. It is always a fun time in their household and I look forward to seeing them every opportunity we get to. They have raised four children that each embody the same wonderful qualities, Spence included. I can't thank them enough for helping make him the incredible man that he is and I really look forward to becoming an official part of their family.
Maid of Honor
Elise and I met years ago at the aerial studio I once used to teach at in Mobile, Alabama. It didn't take us long to become close and, I can honestly say, I don't know where I would be without the friendship and guidance this lovely human has given me ever since! Having her creative touch on my wedding as my maid of honor is a true honor.
Best Man
Although Stuart is the youngest sibling, he grew up to be the tallest, strongest, and friendliest! There are very few individuals I've come across who can energize a room full of people without saying a word, Stuart happens to be one of them. His charisma is palpable, and I'm excited to have him be a part of this incredible day as my best man.
Bridesmaid
Laura and I first met in second grade and the paths of our lives have been crossing ever since. After spending years apart in high school, fate brought us back together in the Portland area, where we have continued to build a close, special friendship. I am so thankful to have her both in my life and by my side on my wedding day!
Bridesmaid
Alex is my oldest friend and the impact that this lovely soul and her wonderful family have had on my life is truly indescribable. I am so thrilled that my childhood dream of having her with me on my wedding day is actually coming true!
Bridesmaid
Haley is the sister(-in-law) I always dreamed of having. She is a wonderful wife, mother, and role model. Even with the distance now between us and the crazy life she lives, she always finds the time to lend me support and cheer me on when I need it - as proven by her being right next to me on this special day!
Bridesmaid
Whitney is one of the most sweet-natured, generous, intelligent, and well-traveled people you will ever have the pleasure to meet in your life. Not to mention, she is one of the only people I know who fully understands the struggle (and, to be honest, joys) of growing up with three brothers :) I am so overjoyed to have her not only as a bridesmaid, but even more so to have her as a sister following the wedding.
Groomsman
Scott always set a great example for his 3 younger siblings growing up. We all followed him down the path to a great life, with such a huge milestone on that path being this wedding. I'm excited to have Scott in this awesome party of groomsmen. Once these two families become one, I'm excited for him to gain a couple older brothers of his own!
Groomsman
Justin will go from the big brother of 4 to the big brother of 8 at the wedding! If there’s anyone up for the challenge, it’s him. I’ve had a blast getting to know Justin whether it's playing charades, hitting the weights, or chatting around the fire. Pumped to have him as a groomsman.
Groomsman
Joel has been leading the way as the very first of all 8 siblings (both families) to get married. He's part of a fab four, with his entire family of Haley, Aubrey, and Sterling having a role in the wedding party. Joel carried a team with Maria and I out of a treacherous escape room in Alabama (99% out but who’s counting). So glad he’s a part of this day.
Groomsman
Of my new brothers, I seem to know Andrew the best…it could be because we live under the same roof! Andrew is constantly causing me to raise my cooking game, and one day I hope to make a chicken soup or barbacoa tacos that rival his. Mr. cool, calm, and collected, I think he will help us all stay grounded so we can be in the moment and truly enjoy the day.
Officiant
Uncle Bruce is the first of Spence's relatives I had the privilege of meeting, just days after we made our relationship official. After hearing Spence talk about his Uncle Bruce and all of the amazing things he'd accomplished, I naturally googled him before our meeting to find it was all true. Needless to say, I was extremely nervous as I met up with them at a local restaurant. Those nerves, however, quickly faded as the three of us sat fireside and chatted. Uncle Bruce gave us many stories and laughs we've remembered fondly, but more importantly, he helped our new relationship grow immensely in the short time we spent together that night. We greatly look forward to having Uncle Bruce nurture our bond even more as he marries us on our wedding day.
Flower Girls
These two are my favorite (and only) nieces. They are as sweet and spunky as they are adorable. I am so proud to be their Auntie Bubbles and so happy to have them be a part of our wedding day!
Ring Bearers
These two mean the world to us and we wouldn't be able to tie the knot without them. We are so excited to share the light and joy these two bring to our lives with all of you on our wedding day!
