FAQs

Question

Are your wedding plans changing due to Covid-19?

Answer

I think everyone knows at this point our plans have changed quite a bit due to Covid-19. We are finally seeing the light at the end of the tunnel, though! We were relatively confident restrictions would be lifted in time for our wedding at Tamaya in New Mexico, however, due to the complexities of their reopening they could still cancel on us up to eleven days before the wedding! That wouldn't have worked for all of our traveling guests, so we went for the sure thing in Durango, Colorado.

Question

Are masks mandatory at the wedding?

Answer

Because our wedding is an outdoor space and we will be well into the vaccination process, especially with the majority of our guests, we will not be requiring face masks. However, we encourage any who feel more comfortable wearing one to please do so!

Question

Have you reserved hotel room blocks?

Answer

We are working to determine the availability of room blocks at the hotels in Durango.

Question

Will there be a shuttle to and/or from the hotel?

Answer

The wedding location is a good bit outside the town, so we are providing transportation for people to and from the ceremony/reception to ensure everyone's safety.

Question

Where are you registered?

Answer

Please know that there is no requirement to give, especially with all that you are doing to be with us on this day. However, our registry is under the registry tab of this wedding website.

Question

Can I bring a plus one? And my children?

Answer

We want to do our best to make sure that you as our honored guest have a great night at our wedding. If there is anyone you need to bring along to make that happen, please let us know in advance so we can try to add them to our total. Your sweet children are more than welcome with an RSVP as well!

Question

Will the ceremony be taking place indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will take place in the great outdoors as we've always envisioned. The reception as well will be outside, but tented for protection from the cold nights on the mountain.

Question

Can I take pictures and/or post photos of your wedding on social media?

Answer

As requested by the photographer, we ask that you keep your cameras and cell phones stowed away during the actual wedding ceremony. However, feel free to snap away after our ceremony at the following reception - just make sure to use our hashtag #goincohen when posting ;)

Question

Is there someone I can contact if I have any other questions about the wedding?

Answer

Absolutely! Feel free to contact myself (Maria), Spence, our parents, or whoever's number or email you do have that can get you in touch with us and we will be sure to get your questions taken care of.

For all the days along the way
