What will the weather be like this time of year?

Answer

The weather will be relatively cold so dress appropriately. The ceremony and reception will be in a climate controlled environment.

Where are the ceremony and reception taking place?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception will take place at The Lodge at Bridal Creek in Sperry, Oklahoma.

Question

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony, the wedding party will be taking photos nearby for about an hour. Guests can enjoy light music and socialize for this time before dinner is served.

What should I do if I can’t make it?

Answer

You will be missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “No,” so we can plan accordingly.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

The ceremony will be held at 4 pm. Please arrive no later than 15 minutes before the ceremony to make sure everyone is on time and we can get the party started as scheduled!

Where should guests park? Is parking free?

Answer

There is free parking on premises.

Can we stay at a cabin on the venue property?

Answer

Cabins have been allocated for our out of state family. All family staying in cabins have been informed of their cabin number. Please see our “Travel” page to explore local AirBnb options.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Yes! Children are welcome at both the ceremony and reception. After 9pm, music will not be kid friendly, however they are welcome to stay as long as parents allow. There will be a cabin for children to stay in and play games after 9pm.

Will food and drinks be served at the reception?

Answer

Yes, we will be serving baked mostaccioli, garlic bread, and salad with non alcoholic beverages. Please BYOB if you would like to drink.

Is alcohol provided at the reception?

Answer

We will not be providing alcohol. Please bring your own if you would like to drink at the reception.

Where are you registered?

Answer

In lieu of gifts, we feel we have everything we need so we have decided against creating a registry and opted for a honeymoon fund instead. If you would like, please see our honeymoon fund under our Registry page.

Question

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Answer

Yes, we encourage guests to post pictures on their social media channels, our only request is that you tag each photo with our wedding hashtag #speerfullyyours so we can keep track of all your pictures! However, our ceremony will be unplugged. We will stop the ceremony if phones are out taking photos until they are all put away. Please note that we have a photographer to capture this special moment.
