FAQs

If you have day-of questions other than what we've listed here, please reach out to Cait's sister, Maire, at 717-826-3050.
Question

By when should I RSVP?

Answer

We kindly ask that you RSVP on our website no later than May 15th.

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

We do not have a registry, but we recently moved out of the city and into a 150-year-old house with a lifelong list of projects. Gifts are not expected, but if you wish to contribute to our "house fund" you can find it on the registry tab of this website. Thanks!

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

We're aiming to start promptly at four, so it would be best to arrive between 3:30 and 3:45.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We're asking that folks dress in cocktail attire for our ceremony and reception. Think "comfortable, but still a little fancy."

Question

Will there be an open bar at the reception?

Answer

Yes! The open bar menu will include a selection of local favorites (beer and spirits) as well as wine. Guests are also free to order drinks not included on the menu, but these are not included in the open bar.

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

If you have a food allergy, please let us know! We are doing a buffet-style meal with options for omnivores, carnivores, pescatarians, vegetarians, and vegans, but if you have additional dietary restrictions please let us know as early as possible and our amazing caterers at Cracked Pepper will make sure you don't go hungry!

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

If the Marriott is not your style, there are plenty of other great hotel options in Lancaster. The Lancaster Arts Hotel, The Cork Factory Hotel, and the Hotel Rock Lititz are all recommended. If staying at a bed and breakfast is more your vibe, then A New Beginning Bed and Breakfast and the King's Cottage Bed and Breakfast are also favorably reviewed.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is free parking for the ceremony on the corner of College Avenue and West James Street, however for the reception we recommend parking at the Penn Square garage. If mobility is a concern, please note that we will have a few parking spots reserved in front of Tellus360.
