What's the dress code?

Answer

We’re requesting semi-formal dress code for our wedding. This can include mid or floor-length dresses or pantsuits for women, and suits for men (tie optional). Please no jeans.

What will the weather be like?

Answer

Late April and early May in Charleston are usually warm and sunny, with highs in the 70s–80s and cooler evenings. It can get a little breezy by the water, so a light layer is always a good idea.

Are kids invited?

We love your little ones, but our wedding will be adults only unless otherwise noted on our invitation.

Where should we stay?

Answer

We recommend staying in Mount Pleasant or Downtown Charleston. We’ve listed our hotel block options on the “Travel” page.

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception will be outdoors on the Charleston Harbor, and the reception will take place in a tented space.

Is there transportation to the venue?

Answer

Yes! We’ll have shuttles running to and from the venue from both hotels. Details and pickup times will be shared closer to the date.

If you’re driving, the venue has on-site parking.

What time should I arrive?

Please arrive at 5 pm so you can find your seat and get settled before the ceremony begins.

Yes, we’re registered online! You can find everything under the “Registry” tab.

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly ask for an unplugged ceremony, phones away until after the “I do’s.” Photos welcome at the reception!
