Best Pick-Up and Drop-Off Spot

There is a great pick-up and set-down area on Stanley Place, right next to the State Library. If you're being delivered to the celebrations (or collected at the end) by car, you won't find a closer spot than this one.

Car Parking

Parking for the Cultural Precinct (which includes both the State Library and GOMA) is available in three neighbouring carparks under the Queensland Art Gallery, the State Library and the Queensland Performing Arts Complex. These are all accessible from Stanley Place. Beware though, these carparks close at midnight on the dot and if your car is still inside at that time, you won't get it back until the carpark reopens (and this may incur a further fee)!

If you're catching a train to or from the celebrations, the closest station is South Brisbane; a 5-10 minute stroll via Grey Street.

The South Bank busway is near to the train station and is also accessible from Grey Street.
