What time is the wedding?

Answer

3:30pm No one will be allowed inside the church once the actual ceremony begins. 6:00pm Reception We pushed the time back from 5pm just as a precaution, things happen and we want to spend all the hours wit y’all. So y’all can take a quick nap in the car, if your kids came, drop them off to wherever they goin. Stop at the store grab ya self a drink or even a pre reception dranky drank, some gum, a snack, some sunflower seeds 🤷🏾‍♀️(7 eleven is down the street from the church) OR you can stop at the local Walgreens to grab that last minute greeting card & gift card that you forgot to get for the the Bride & Groom. You can definitely take some pics outside of the car in the the parking lot of the reception showin off your dope ass outfit. You know how it go. Quite a few options out there. Hopefully the wait won’t be too long.

Of course. But it’s my day not yours so stop worrying about me and mind ya business. 😊 You just be your butt on time

Can I bring a someone? +1

Answer

Under certain circumstances like marriage or traveling from out of town are ok but please get with the bride and/or groom. If your family name or your name & guest are not on the envelope of the invitation but you’re thinking about bringing a +1 please ask, don’t just bring someone because you think it’s gonna be ok.

Are children allowed?

Answer

Children may come to the church, but unfortunately not the reception.

How should I dress?

Answer

Most important is to “WEAR PINK”. Any shade of pink. You can wear a solid pink or pink can be incorporated into your blouse, dress, or shirt. NO BLACK tops or dresses. You can look as if you going to a formal event, a nice elegant dinner, sharp as a tack, GQ, etc. Men wearing a blazer/suit jacket, shirts will have to incorporate pink (in case the jacket comes off). If the suit is all pink then the shirt doesn’t have to incorporate pink. NO BLACK shirts or suits, sweaters or jackets. Black pants are ok. BLACK can be in your outfit but not the majority color. LADIES please do not come looking like your going to the club or bar, showing all ya cleavage & legs. The length of your dress or skirt needs to be PAST mid thigh. Accessorizing in Pink (shoes, earrings, purses, hats, ties, bow ties, etc) does not count as wearing pink) Nice dress shoes or some nice casual shoes. You can bring an extra pair of shoes (flats or sneakers) just in case them dawgs start barkin!

No, But we have some recommendations as they are listed in the travel section of this website. The hotels in this area really do book fast so plan accordingly. Also don’t forget about Airbnb

Yes there are parking lots at both locations

Will there be transportation to and from the wedding?

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

We are not registered anywhere, we prefer monetary gifts. (Cash, checks, visa/Mastercard gift cards). We’ve been a blended family with lots of God’s blessings. But If you would like to get something that you feel is meaningful please feel free. There will be a card box and table for all blessings. Thank you in advance.

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

RSVP ASAP. Please do not wait. But if you must please do so by April 1, 2022. If you do not rsvp please don’t just show up until after we eat. 😂

Will there be a band playing at the reception?

Heck nawh, we turnin up. Bring ya flats, slides, slippers, dancing feet, snapping fingers, ya knee braces and canes we gon have a good time!!!!!

Is there anything else that I need to know?

YES!!! You were invited because we think about you and have love and respect for you. So please do not rsvp if you know that you are “NOT” going to make it. It’s ok, we won’t be upset. If you rsvp and something happens to come up PLEASE let the bride and/or groom know so that we can plan accordingly. As you know weddings are not cheap and we are not ballers. So I’m asking of everyone to be courteous and “please do not be a no call no show” cause I will talk about you and ya family like a dog every chance i get to everybody that will listen. Delete you from my social media and have you live vicariously through the people that really care about me (the bride) because I will never speak to you again. NEVER 😘 Mmmmmkay!!!!
