We’re getting married

I (Sovajra) worked for Wal~Mart at the jewelry counter and he (Jerome) worked for Coca Cola servicing our vending machines. So in order to get to the machines you had to pass my counter and he would walk by, look at me, smile and say hello. Then after awhile he finally stopped to tell me that I looked like Fantasia and we would laugh because everyone said that and the long talks began. Everytime he came in he would say i’m not doing no work and we would chat about our kids, saving money, he joked about my flip phone cause he had a blackberry, telling me to step my game up. We exchanged numbers and I honestly can say that i think he loved from our first date. He did not want the night to end. I had people with me, he had people with him but all he cared about was me. In the crowd of people he wanted to protect me. I let him hold my hand and walk me to the car... awh man he could not stop smiling and did not want me to go. He was so sweet, attentive, funny, and just had a great personality that I couldnt help but to fall for him. Jerome proposed on February 14th 2019 while my family was in town to celebrate my mom’s 60th birthday. I shouldve known something was up because my momma started playing slow music on her phone and singing and told me to feed him some of my chocolate covered strawberries that he got me for Valentine’s Day. First of all lady that would be awkward with you right here, secondly this man don’t eat strawberries, but there he was on his knee mouth open ready to receive it. So of course i fed it to him awkwardly as my mom watched smiling from ear to ear and he popped out a beautiful ring asking if i would be his forever. I didnt know what to say, what to do, so I sat in silence and disbelief and just stared like oh my god this is not real. But it was and I couldnt be happier. We have grown so much as individuals and as a unit over the years, so we pray that the Lord continues to bless our family and guide us on our love journey. J & S forever 💍 👩🏾‍❤️‍👨🏾
