Do we have to stay at The Grand Hyatt? Are there any other options? Room Bocks?

Answer

No, you do not need to stay at The Grand Hyatt. If you would like to stay at The Grand Hyatt, we do have a room block and kindly ask that you please let us know. Yes! There are plenty of options on the island should you like to stay at another hotel or an AirBnb.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes, the wedding will be Garden Formal. We kindly ask that men wear a suit or slacks and a dinner jacket. Ladies, please wear midi length dresses, no tight dresses please. It is better to be over-dressed than underdressed. For the welcome party, we ask that you wear your Hawaiian best. Please wear a Hawaiian inspired shirt/clothes as you enter into this special weekend. It is nice-casual. Should you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to us.

Will there be transportation from the airport?

Answer

No, we suggest renting a car if you want to explore the island. We can help coordinate carpooling and other transportation should you need it. Do not hesitate to ask!

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP ASAP. We need to know guest count and room block count as soon as possible. You will receive a formal invitation in the mail shortly after your save the date arrives. If you know you cannot attend our wedding, please promptly let us know.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes, please let us know in your formal invitation and selection of food whether you are dairy, gluten-free, soy-free, coconut free, etc. We will be able to make those accommodations upon request.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Due to our limited guest space, we kindly ask that only those who are listed on the save the date and invitation are invited. Should you have any questions, please reach out to us directly. Mahalo!

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please plan to arrive at The Grand Hyatt no later than 4pm on April 10th. There is a slight walk to the ceremony.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, for those of you who are renting a car, there is a parking lot at the hotel.
