Maid of Honor
From Barbie dolls to LSU tailgates, Sarah and Emily have been built-in best friends since the day she was born. Sisters by birth and friends by choice, Sarah is so excited to celebrate with Emily by her side.
Best Man
Austin and Alex have known each other since pre-K. Growing up just down the street, they instantly became best friends, playing sports and commiserating over Dolphins games together. They've remained close through the years and Alex can't wait to have Austin next to him on the big day.
Matron of Honor
After meeting during the first week of freshman year at LSU, Caitlin and Sarah have been best friends ever since. Between Mardi Gras in Lafayette, living together at the condo and the Theta house, and celebrating Caitlin's wedding, these two share countless memories together and will be friends for life.
Groomsman
Matt and Alex met as roommates in college and immediately clicked. From making each other laugh in class at USF, to their many trips to Pollo Tropical, Alex and Matt built a strong friendship in college and still try to see each other as much as possible.
Bridesmaid
Mary Allen was Sarah's first friend at LSU, after talking on the curb outside the Theta house during sorority recruitment. Mary Allen is outgoing and fun-loving — it wouldn't be a party without her!
Groomsman
Chris and Alex are cousins, and grew up together catching lizards and making frequent trips to Disney World. Chris has always been like a big brother to Alex and that continues to this day.
Bridesmaid
Jess and Sarah have been friends since their first year of college and have countless memories together, from joint birthday trips to New Orleans to visiting each other in New York and DC. Jess is fiercely loyal and hilarious, and is always ready to have fun.
Groomsman
Alex met John in college, where they spent hours watching AFC East football together and listening to John and Luke argue over whether Chicago or New York had a superior pizza. John is a ball of energy, and is always ready for a great time.
Bridesmaid
Megan and Sarah only met once before becoming roommates in their tiny Miller dorm room freshman year, and remain close to this day. From nights out in Baton Rouge and New Orleans, to watching Megan become a wife and mother, Sarah knows they will be friends forever.
Groomsman
Luke and Alex met at USF and got to know each other throughout their years in Tampa. Their love of cigars and golf brought them together and they remain close friends to this day. Although Luke lives in Chicago now, their group of friends from college gets together at least once a year for a guys' trip.
Bridesmaid
Melanie and Sarah became friends just a few days after Sarah moved to DC. Their friendship blossomed over their shared love of football and you can find them texting each other every weekend about their respective teams. Melanie is incredibly fun and a true friend.
Groomsman
Paul was Alex's intern in Senator Rubio's office but their friendship grew beyond the workplace. They lived together for three years in DC and Paul even helped bring Alex and Sarah together at a New Year's Eve party, over a game of beer pong.
Bridesmaid
Rachael is Sarah's oldest friend. They met at an Indian Princess campout as kids, and grew up together playing Nancy Drew computer games and singing Hilary Duff songs on the karaoke machine. Though they live in different cities now, they always make an effort to meet up around the holidays at the same restaurant they've been going to since they were preteens — the Cheesecake Factory.
Groomsman
Taylor was one of Alex's first friends in DC, after meeting as interns in Congressman Scalise's office. Their friendship remained strong through receptions to their first real jobs in the Capitol, even becoming roommates along the way.
Bridesmaid
Sarah and Katie have been friends since college, after meeting on a congressional campaign. Their friendship grew through door knocking and phone banking all summer, and when they both moved to DC after graduation, they became roommates. Katie is a great listener and someone Sarah can always count on.
Groomsman
Hayden and Alex met through his wife, Jennifer, and got to know each other during Nats games and many trips to the Bullpen. Hayden is a great friend who goes out of his way for others, even when it includes helping them move – the true test of a friendship!
Bridesmaid
Sarah met Jennifer on her first day of work in DC and is responsible for introducing the bride and groom just a day later! Jen is a loyal and sweet friend, and has been a constant in Sarah and Alex's life for the past five years.
Groomsman
Tyler and Alex met in DC and became fast friends over their love of watching sports (and betting on them). They enjoy playing golf together and talking about their shared disdain for Tom Brady.
Bridesmaid
Becca has been friends with Sarah and Alex since day one. After meeting Alex when they both worked on Capitol Hill, Sarah and Becca's friendship grew over happy hours, weekends out in DC, and even a trip to Arizona together. She's incredibly smart and honest, and an amazing friend.
Groomsman
Jamison and Alex met through mutual friends in DC and quickly got to know each other over beers at Capitol Lounge and dinners together with their significant others that ended way later than they should for a weeknight. Jamison is hilarious and always the life of the party.
Honorary Groomsman
B is Alex's grandfather and idol. Growing up, Alex would always spend time with B, helping him with projects around the house and listening to stories about their family history or his time as a tail gunner in World War II. Alex has always looked up to B and strives to meet his example of what a husband, father, and grandfather should be. He is the last of the greatest generation and a national treasure.
