Fort Worth Stockyards
Fort Worth is where the West begins. For a taste of the cowboy life, walk around the nearby shops, watch the daily cattle drive, or dance the night away at Billy Bob's, the world's largest honky tonk.
Joe T. Garcia's
A Fort Worth staple since 1935, featuring a patio that seats over 1,000 guests. Order a pitcher of margaritas while you wait in line and be sure to get "The Dinner."
The Star
Surrounded by shopping and restaurants, The Star is the 91-acre campus of the Dallas Cowboys World Headquarters and practice facility.
Mi Cocina
It wouldn't be a trip to Dallas without stopping for Tex Mex, and Mi Cocina offers locations across the metroplex. The chile con queso and brisket tacos are favorites of the bride — just watch out for the Mambo Taxis, they're dangerous!
George W. Bush Presidential Center
The Bush Library is one of the Sarah's favorite things to do in Dallas. Located on SMU's campus, exhibits include A Nation Under Attack, Life in the White House, and a full-size replica of the White House Oval Office.
Campisi's
Campisi's has been serving iconic, award-winning pizzas and family Italian dishes since 1946. With a few locations around Dallas, a local favorite is the "All the Way" pizza.
West Village
The birthplace of Neiman Marcus, there's no shortage of shopping in Dallas! Stop by West Village to grab drinks on a patio or walk around the many stores. A few other popular shopping spots include Highland Park Village, NorthPark Center, and Southlake Town Square.

We are fully aware that we have way too many Tex-Mex recommendations on this list. But you need to try the Wagyu Beef Fajitas at Las Palmas. Just trust us.
State Fair of Texas
