Serendipitously, the elevator doors opened on the 5th floor of Spaulding Hospital, and that's when the two of us first laid eyes on each other. It wasn't like we were actively searching for love, but fate had other plans. Throughout the summer of 2019, we had these magical encounters filled with stolen glances and gentle smiles. It was clear that something special was brewing. Despite the challenges thrown our way, we both knew we couldn't waste any time. Caleigh was wrapping up her Bachelor's Degree at Springfield College, and Jephte was hustling to finish his Masters's Degree while working a full-time job in Boston. But distance and the strict CDC guidelines during COVID-19 couldn't keep us apart. Amidst our busy schedules, we both made it a point to prioritize communication. Whether through regular Face-Time calls or texting throughout the day, we found ways to stay connected. Love knows no bounds. It's incredible how it can bridge any gap.
