FAQs

Reach out of if you have questions, especially related to travel and recommendations on where to stay! We are happy to help. Day of questions can be directed to our wedding coordinator, Erica, who will be onsite for the entirety of the celebrations.
Question

Where should we stay?

Answer

Our rehearsal dinner for out of town guests will be in Capitol Hill and the wedding will be near University of Washington campus/University Village. We have included some hotels to stay in both the University area, and Capitol Hill area for ease of accessibility to wedding events. The Silver Cloud Hotel in University Village is the closest hotel option to the wedding venue.

Question

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

As much as we love your little ones, this will be a kids free wedding. Please arrange for childcare for the evening and reach out if you are traveling from out of town and need any assistance getting in contact with babysitters/contacts in the Seattle area.

Question

Your wedding is outside, what if it rains?

Answer

We will have a rainy day back-up plan that will covered in case of bad weather. Plan to be outside for the evening but know that if it's pouring, we'll bring you inside.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes! We have a parking lot at our venue that is free of charge for guests.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Please only bring a date if your invitation specifies a plus one. When you RSVP, you will have the option to RSVP for yourself and any one else included in your family invite.

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP as soon as possible to allow us to plan ahead for rentals and catering. We ask you RSVP by June 1st at the latest.

Question

Are you registered?

Answer

Yes! Our registry can be found directly through the registry tab on our website through Zola.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Semi-formal is suggested but please feel free to where whatever makes you feel comfortable. Our bridesmaids will be in long green dresses and groomsmen in suits.

Question

What is the situation with COVID?

Answer

We will be following all Washington state and CDC guidance to keep our family and loved ones safe. Our venue requires all guests to be fully vaccinated. You will need to provide proof of vaccination with your RSVP (link provided on RSVP link to upload a photo). Our entire wedding will be outdoors, so we will not be requiring masking or testing at this time. If we find ourselves in another surge/variant closer to the wedding date, we may ask guests to take an at home test before arriving. As the situation ever evolves, we will be sure to update you all if anything changes!

Question

Is your venue wheelchair accessible?

Answer

Yes! The ceremony and dinner will be on grass, but can be accessed from the far right side of the parking lot without stairs or via elevator through the main entrance.
