It can get a bit breezy in Lagos in the evenings, so we recommend you pack a layer or something warm to throw on once the sun goes down.
Lagos is full of cobblestones which can be uneven, so please keep that in mind when picking your shoes. Low block heels or wedges tend to be the best bet—especially in the evenings and on the day of the wedding.

There are many options to get from Faro Airport to Lagos. Transfer or Ubers, for transfers you can contact Vitor at +351 963326578 and mention that you are with the wedding party or if they are no longer available Yellow Fish are also a good option https://www.yellowfishtransfers.com/en/home You can also get the bus or the train which are easily accessible and good value times and options found via google maps.
If you wish to rent a car we recommend Marina Car Rental which is based in Lagos but also has a base at Faro Airport. We recommend contacting info@marinarentacar.com and mentioning you are with the wedding party.
We will be hosting our Sunset Sips at the Waterfront Bar on the Marina in Lagos, join us for a pre dinner drink before you head for dinner from 5:30-6:30pm. There are lots of options on the Marina for dinner Wok on Waves, Quay, Portofino's the Waterfront itself and many more or it is a short 10 minute walk from the Marina into the town if you wish to have dinner there. After Sunset Sips, the wedding party will head off — we’ll catch up with you all at the wedding!
Day 2 will be a Pizza & Pool Party — open invite from 3pm onwards! Dress code is ‘family BBQ vibes’ but whatever you feel most comfortable in you can never be over dressed! Also don’t forget your swimwear, a towel, and a change of clothes if you intend on heading out with us later that evening.
We are so excited to be celebrating this special day surrounded by our closets friends and family. As we are hosting the wedding at an intimate venue, our numbers are unfortunately extremely restricted and we have done our very best to accommodate as many people as we could. And so, if you do have a plus one their name will be listed on your invitation.
We are happy for you to wear whatever you are most comfortable in. We are saying "family bbq attire" but truly whatever is best for you. Be sure to pack a towel if you wish to swim and a change of clothes if you wish to join us in going out that evening.
