Kansas City International Airport (MCI)

The Kansas City International Airport is about a 25 minute drive from downtown Kansas City, Missouri. There is not a shuttle that runs downtown, but it is an easy and reasonably-priced taxi/Uber/Lyft ride. Please note that the airport is undergoing construction while they transition from the current three-terminal layout to a new single terminal. This should only be a minor inconvenience.

Driving/Rental Cars

We are planning our wedding to minimize the need for personal vehicles. With that in mind, you should not need a car once you get to your hotel so long as you're staying in downtown Kansas City, Missouri. There is a no-fare streetcar and all of the buses in the city are free to ride as well. If you choose to rent a car or are driving to the wedding, please know that Hotel Phillips does not have a self-park option and valet parking costs $30 per day. There is also a public parking garage just around the corner from the hotel called the Wyandotte/Baltimore Garage (located at 1224 Baltimore Avenue) that charges $10 per 24 hours.
