Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

We've reserved a block of hotel rooms at the Capital Hilton and Courtyard Marriott. However, if you'd prefer to stay elsewhere, there are plenty of hotels downtown, as well as Airbnbs, etc.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Parking in DC can be very difficult. We strongly advise that you take public transportation, a taxi, Uber, Lyft (or even a pedicab!) before attempting to drive.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We recommend dressy casual attire for welcome drinks; black tie, military dress, or similar for the ceremony and reception; and casual attire for brunch.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Unfortunately, no. This is not only a historic venue, but also a museum. Please get in touch for suggestions about child care -- we're happy to help with recommendations.

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

Your presence is gift enough! (And like many city-dwellers, storage space is at a premium.) However, we’ve included a few household items on our registry, as well as some fun experiences we’d love to enjoy as newlyweds!
