The Atlantic City boardwalk is the world’s first and longest boardwalk, originally built to keep sand out of hotels and trains. It stretches for 5.5 miles with an additional 2 miles into Ventnor.
Absecon Lighthouse
Designed by Civil War General George Meade and built in 1857, it is the tallest lighthouse in New Jersey, offering panoramic views from its 228 steps you can climb! Free museum, exhibits, and parking.
