San Francisco airport (SFO): 3.5 hour drive, but your best bet for direct/cheapest flights, particularly if you’re coming from England.
Oakland Airport: 3 hour drive
Sacramento International airport: 2.75 hour drive
Reno airport: 2.5 hour drive
