HOW DO I RSVP?

Answer

You can click the RSVP tab above and RSVP at any time before July 19, 2025 (early RSVPs are VERY welcomed and appreciated)! If you do not RSVP on time, you will be marked "not attending" as we will need to provide a final head count to our venue by July 26 for food, drink and seating accommodations.

CAN I BRING A PLUS ONE?

Answer

We unfortunately cannot accommodate additional guests due to limited capacity at our venue. Please refer to who is on your invitation or RSVP to see if you have an additional guest.

ARE KIDS ALLOWED?

Answer

We love your little ones! However, we have decided to keep our wedding and reception an adults-only event with the exception of ring bearer. We encourage you to use this evening as a date night!

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?

Answer

We'd love to see our family and friends get dressed up for our big day! Dress code is formal attire. No jeans please! It will be hot in Raleigh in August, so keep that in mind when planning an outfit— ceremony and reception will be indoors, cocktail hour outdoors. Think summer garden party!

WILL THERE BE AN OPEN BAR?

Answer

YES! We will have a full bar supplying unlimited drinks all night long! Available beer, wine and liquor will be on display. No outside alcohol is permitted at the venue-- we will have plenty on hand!

WHAT TIME SHOULD I ARRIVE TO THE CEREMONY?

Answer

We encourage our guests to arrive to the church 20 minutes prior the start of the ceremony to find a seat and get settled before we begin. You may want to allot some extra time to find parking if you are driving over as downtown can be busy!

DO I HAVE TO BE CATHOLIC TO ATTEND THE CEREMONY?

Answer

Nope! We love you all and want to share this special ceremony with you. All are welcome.

WHERE DO I PARK FOR THE CEREMONY?

Answer

Please give yourself extra time to get to the church. For Sacred Heart Church, there is parking available at: 1. Limited lot behind the Cathedral School and Parish (enter from W. Edenton St) 2. St Monica lot on corner of W. Edenton St & Dawson St (enter from W. Edenton St) 3. St Dominic lot on corner of Hillsborough St & Dawson St 4. Paid parking available on metered street parking and surrounding lots across from the church

WILL THERE BE A SHUTTLE?

Answer

Yes! There will be a shuttle from the hotel to Highgrove Estate for cocktail hour. It will leave from the Sheraton Raleigh Hotel on the Salisbury Street entrance. The first bus will leave at 4:15pm and the last shuttle will leave at 4:25pm. The shuttle will leave after the reception no later than 10:15pm. There is NO shuttle to the church ceremony however it is only a few blocks away from the hotel

Do you have a hotel block?

Answer

Yes! Our hotel block is at the Sheraton Raleigh Hotel. More info is on the “travel” tab. Please note to join the block you must reserve before July 22nd!
