From the moment we met, it was clear that God had brought us together for a reason. We became inseparable best friends, sharing laughter and smiles every day. We started attending the same church, where we soon embarked on a shared adventure: reading the Bible in a Year. This strengthened our relationship with God and our yearning to keep Him present in our daily lives. We began volunteering each Sunday at the Church, and found great joy in doing that together. Our mission as a couple was simple yet profound—keeping Christ at the center of our relationship. Sophie often shared with her friends and family how Ryan checked every box, and even filled in the ones she hadn’t realized she wanted. He was the answer to prayers she had whispered for years. Ryan admired Sophie’s heart and values from the start, as she said early on that her goal as his partner was to do everything in her power to help him get closer to heaven. He shared with his mom shortly after beginning the relationship that he had never felt loved in the way Sophie loved him in his entire life.
