Formal Garden Party Attire: Dress as you would for a formal event, but suitable for a garden setting. Color encouraged!

We have a registry through Zola that has a Travel/Honeymoon Fund and a few household/kitchen items.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

We recommend that guests use Uber or any ride share app. Ride share is easily accessible in Grand Rapids, however in order to assure everything goes smoothly, we recommend that everyone schedules their Uber rides ahead of time. The drive from the hotels in downtown Grand Rapids to the ceremony space is roughly 15 minutes but we suggest leaving for the ceremony 30-45 minutes before it begins. Please make it to the ceremony with time to spare.

Yes, see the travel page on this Website. There we have 3 hotel recommendations that also offer a discount code. If you choose to not go with any of those hotels, we would still recommend booking somewhere in central downtown Grand Rapids, or close to the wedding venue (Frederik Meijer Gardens). We recommend booking downtown because it is not too far from the venue and there are more things to do in/near downtown Grand Rapids.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, Frederick Meier Gardens has a large parking lot and offers parking for all guests.
