When should I RSVP by?

Please RSVP by March 31st, 2026 so we can give our vendors accurate numbers.
Question
Can I bring a date and/or an additional family member?
Answer
We will only be able to accommodate those specifically listed on your wedding invitation. Thank you for understanding!

Can we bring our children?
Answer
While we love your little ones, our wedding will be mostly an adults-only celebration, with the exception of a few children in our wedding party and immediate family. Due to space limitations at our venue, we’re only able to accommodate those listed on the invitations. We truly appreciate your understanding and can’t wait to celebrate with you!

Is there a hotel block?
Answer
Yes! We’ve reserved room blocks at two sister hotels: the DoubleTree by Hilton and the Tryon Riverfront Inn by Hilton. Both hotels are conveniently located right next to each other in downtown New Bern. You can find the links to book your stay using our special wedding block discount rate in the Travel section of this website. Kevin and I will be staying at the Tyron Riverfront Inn.

What is the attire?
Answer
The attire for the Welcome Party is Dressy Casual. The attire for the Wedding Ceremony and Rehearsal is Garden Party Formal.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?
Answer
There is plenty of parking available at the wedding venue! A golf cart will be running to bring you to and from the parking lot and the ceremony space! Rideshare services like Uber are also available and will come out to the venue if you prefer that option. The Welcome Party is being held in Downtown New Bern. It is a .4 mile walk from the Doubletree Hotel and the Tyron Riverfront Inn. There is also street parking.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?
Answer
Yes! We will be providing transportation to and from the wedding venue and the Doubletree/Tyron Riverfront Inn. Please indicate whether you will be using this service when you RSVP so we how many seats to reserve.

Answer
Your presence is truly the greatest gift of all. However, if you feel inclined, our registry can be found under the Registry tab on our wedding website.

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?
Answer
We’re skipping the traditional rehearsal dinner and instead hosting a Welcome Party on Thursday, May 28, 2026! We’ll have the Flying Fox bar reserved privately from 5:30–9:00 PM, but it will remain open until 11:00 PM if you’d like to stay and keep the fun going. Everyone is invited! We want as much time as possible to spend quality moments with all of you, and we would absolutely love to see you there. We’ll have appetizers, drinks, and music!

Can I access the dock or go in the water at the venue?
Answer
Access to the dock is by permission of the venue staff only. No alcohol is permitted on the dock and it may not be accessed after dark. Swimming/going in the water is not permitted. Please respect these venue policies as there are heavy fines for any violations.
