We spent most of our lives as neighbors in Edmonds, just a house apart, yet somehow our paths never truly crossed. That all changed when our mothers, with the uncanny intuition only a mom possesses, sparked a conversation and decided we might just be a match. As it turns out, they saw our future story clearly. Our journey began with a simple, lighthearted text from Joshua to Sophie: “Heard our moms are trying to get us together lol.” That message led to our first official date at Demetris in Edmonds on a beautiful, sunny afternoon, where we sat on the patio and the conversation flowed effortlessly. From that first shared moment, a silent understanding sparked, and we’ve been inseparable ever since. It is a profound and beautiful irony that the love of our lives was right next door all along. We are eternally grateful that God’s timing was so perfect, bringing us together exactly when we were meant to meet. Now, as we prepare to say “I do,” our greatest joy is looking forward to spending forever with each other!
