How did the wedding happen?

Answer

We continued with our planned vows on July 25 in the sight of God and gathered witnesses, as limited as in-person gatherings currently were in NYC. A small outdoor reception took place in a nearby park.

How did I know if I was invited to the wedding?

Answer

Unfortunately due to the restrictions on mass gatherings, we were only able to invite 50 total guests, so we had to limit the ceremony to our immediate family and wedding party. Unless you were explicitly invited by the bride or groom, we asked that you join us virtually on the wedding day and we hope to celebrate with you in person soon!
