Flight
If you are joining us internationally, you should fly into Mexico City, which is the closest airport to the venue and has hundreds of international flights per day. Mexico City has two airports, but nearly all international flights arrive at Mexico City International Airport (MEX). We strongly recommend this airport over Felipe Angeles International Airport (NUL) as it's much closer to the city and easier to access transportation like Uber. An Uber to Condesa/Roma Norte neighborhoods from the airport should take between 25 and 40 minutes and cost under $15-20 USD. If possible, we recommend arriving before noon if you are planning to travel down to Tepoztlán the same day. From the airport, Tepoztlán is about a 1.5-2 hour drive away, depending on traffic (which can be pretty gnarly in CDMX!). We would not recommend taking any highways at night, so better to wait until the following morning if you're arriving late in the afternoon.
Travel Note
Tepoztlán is located approximately 1.5 hours south of Mexico City. It can be reached via car (either rented or with a driver) or public bus along major highways from central points in the city or the airport. Please reach out to us if you need any travel suggestions! Please note: it is not recommended to travel on highways anywhere in Mexico after dark (~6 PM). If you are arriving on an afternoon or evening flight, please plan to travel the following morning.
Shuttle
December 4, 2026 1:00 pm
We will organize up to two shuttles from Mexico City (Airport or Parque Mexico) to the central plaza of Tepoztlán to help guests traveling down and protect the environment a bit by carpooling. Please reach out to Sophia if you are interested in being added to the shuttle list. We can also organize a shuttle to return to Mexico City and/or the airport on Sunday afternoon if people are interested.
Travel Note
We have suggested a few highly-rated hotels in Tepoztlán, but there are many options beyond these! We do not have blocks or discounts at any of the hotels listed, so feel free to search beyond these. We are happy to provide advice if you have any questions.
Hotel
This is the location for the wedding ceremony and reception on Saturday. The location is extremely central in Tepoztlán, but nestled in a quiet courtyard to escape the bustle of the town. We have two accommodation options directly at the venue: 1. Bungalows: Private rooms at an accessible cost with bathrooms for two people (queen bed or two twins) in a shared compound. To book, please get in touch with Sophia and Alfonso directly. 2. Cabins: The venue also has several slightly more private, two-person cabins on the property (including some with mountain views) that can be reserved separately. Please contact the venue directly to book these cabins. We can help put you in touch with the venue if needed. We have recommended a few additional hotels below that are central in Tepoztlán for easy access to the venue. However, there are dozens of excellent hotels nearby, so feel free to depart from this list!
