No!! We rented a shuttle for the wedding day to reduce the travel burden on our out-of-state guests. We will have a shuttle that will take 55 guests from the hotel to the ceremony, from the ceremony to the reception, and from the reception back to the hotel. If you know that you will want a spot on the shuttle, please let Sophie know ASAP by texting her at 210-781-0139. Guests will only have to cover travel to and from airport. Please note that the shuttle will not have car seats for small children.
Yes; there is one free parking lot behind the church that belongs to Saint Patrick. Do NOT park in the Columbus State parking lots without paying... unfortunately, Columbus Park is very active and they will ticket you!

The attire for our wedding is cocktail to formal. So for men, that would mean anything from a suit to a tuxedo, with dress shoes. For women, that means anything from a midi to a floor-length gown. Wear shoes that you feel comfortable in (no one expects you to wear them all night!). If you feel so inclined, we would love if you dressed within the color theme of our wedding for an extra cohesive kick: think navy/steel blue, forest green, terracotta, and burgundy, plus jewel tones. Finally, please reserve white and ivory shades for our bride!
If you know you are coming to the wedding, I recommend booking flights sooner rather than later. If you plan on renting a car, another cost-effective option would be to fly into Cincinnati and drive the 2 hours north to Columbus. It's not a bad drive and is something we do often save on flight costs for trips (Cincinnati is a much bigger airport and often has more reasonable fare). Finally, consider using 3rd party apps like Google flights to find the cheapest options. And, of course, if you have flyer miles as credit card rewards, this would be a great opportunity to use them!
We have reserved hotel blocks at two different hotels at varying price points for your convenience; see the travel page for details. You are also free to stay elsewhere if you would like, though the shuttle to and from the ceremony/reception will be departing from the hotels since we anticipate that that is where the majority of out-of-state guests will be staying.
We love kids and welcome out of town guests' children! That said, for guests who live in Columbus, we kindly ask that you consider a sitter for the night to save space and resources for those traveling long distances to attend. A large number of our guests are coming from out of state and we would like to to prioritize accommodations for those guests' children. Thank you for your understanding!
