What do I do between the ceremony and the reception?

Ahh yes, the Catholic gap. During the time you can head back to hotel/airbnb to freshen up, pray for the new couple at the adoration chapel across the street from the church, or check out charming downtown Hickory!

If you would like to see the soon to be Sweeneys over the weekend other than the ceremony and the reception, please feel free to come to the welcome event Friday night.

What is the dress code?

Answer

We kindly ask our guests to dress in formal attire for both the celebration of our Nuptial Mass and the reception to follow. For the ladies, we suggest elegant midi or longer dresses. For the gentlemen, suit jackets and ties are encouraged. We can’t wait to see everyone!

Will the wedding be indoor or outdoor?

Both the ceremony and reception will be inside.
