Friends since our freshmen year of high school, Kristin and I met through mutual classes and Friday night football games. From high school Tigers to college Bears, Kristin and I are proud UNC Alumni's, and freshmen year roomies! Our friendship consists of late night trips to McDonalds, shopping when we don't need to shop, Ramen noodles, One Tree Hill, our love of makeup and skincare, and jokes only we find funny. Kristin has always exemplified what loyalty, strength, and a giving heart look like in a friend, and I could not imagine her not with me today.
Taylor Johnson

Friends since our freshmen year of high school, Taylor and I met in our concert choir class. I knew when I met her that I had found a genuine forever friend, and years later, this has still remained true. Our friendship has always been full of our incredibly loud laughter, trips to Whiteout church camp, singing alto together, amazing race birthdays, game nights, sleepovers with the girls, and late night talks. Taylor has always embodied what true support, genuine care, and courage look like, and I am so proud to have her next to me on my big day as I say I do to Lucas!

Friends since our freshmen year of high school, Lauren and I met in our concert choir class. (You can tell there's a singing theme throughout my love story and my friendship's stories haha!) Since then, our friendship has consisted of our mutual love for Jesus, getting ready for high school dances together, group numbers in Encore, trips to Denver, sleepovers, and loud laughter. Lauren has always been the friend who brings such genuine wisdom and grace to any room, and I will always be thankful for the joy she brings to my life, and will, on my special day!

Friends since our freshmen year of high school, Leslie and I met through mutual classes. Our friendship is made up of lunch trips to Wendy's, staying up too late working on honors projects, car rides to Denver where we talk for hours, re-taking pictures to get just the right one, and bonding over our mutual love for her dog Max and all things home decor, lists, and organization. Leslie has always shown what independence, understanding, and strength look like, and I am so proud to have her in my life and have her as part of my bridal party on my wedding day!

Friends since our sophomore year of college, Janae and I first met at UNC through several different teacher classes. Our friendship was built on our mutual high stress and exhaustion levels from teaching practicums, group projects, laughing in our late night classes, co-speaking at literacy conferences, wine and Disney movie nights with the girls, and our love for digital literacy. Janae has always inspired me to be bold, and I'm so thankful to have such a loving, independent, and hilarious friend with me in my life and through this journey to marrying my best friend!
Maddy Kirkbride

Friends since our sophomore year of college, Maddy and I first met our freshmen year at UNC in our beginning science class for teachers. As time went on, our friendship was built on many group projects, funny accents, literacy conferences, teaching Kindergarten, grabbing food before class, and Chick-fil-A runs with the girls; not to mention, our mutual love of escape rooms, dinosaurs, teaching, and musicals. Maddy's genuine heart for others and kindness is a true testament to the compassionate friend that she is, and I'm so grateful to have her here with me!

Friends since my freshmen year of college and her sophomore year, Hailey and I first met at UNC in our children's literacy class. Hailey would drive us to a nearby elementary school for our class, and this act of generosity is something that really exemplifies who she is. Our friendship strengthened each year in college, from group projects, teacher talks, speaking at future teacher conferences together, wine nights with the girls, comedy clubs, and target teacher dollar spot shopping trips. Hailey has always been a friend that encourages, reaches out, and truly cares for everyone around her, and I can't wait to celebrate my big day with her!

Friends since our junior year of high school, Luke and I met in our show choir class, Encore. Besides singing bass together, we're most likely to be found playing D&D. (Yes we know it's nerdy haha but we love it.) Luke has always been the friend who truly cares for others and knows how to bring the fun to any room.

I met Jake in Encore my sophomore year of high school, and we have been friends since. He and I have always bonded over our love of nerd stores and games. Jake was a friend to me when I needed it most, and has always been a great friend to call for a good talk.
Will Harper

I met Will the summer before my junior year of high school while we were in Broadway camp together. We instantly bonded over horrible jokes, singing, and D&D. Will has always been the friend to not only make you laugh, but to fill up a room with laughter too, which I've always appreciated.
Truman Harwood

Truman and I have known each other since 2009 while we were in the Civic Theater together for a play. From singing bass in Encore, to going to every Star Wars premiere together (along with my fiance), Truman has been the friend who gives, cares, and listens. I'm so proud to have him be the one officiating my wedding, and I wouldn't have it any other way.

Chad and I have known each other for years, but it wasn't until our senior year of high school where we really became great friends. We've always bonded our love of Atomic Bob's burgers, nerdy games, and adventures outside. He's been the friend who always gives the best advice, and would do anything for those he cares about.

I've known David since our freshmen year of high school when we met in concert choir. We've always had an equal appreciation for marvel movies, smash bros, and working at our local Hospital together. David is such a genuinely good person, and has always been a friend who you can always count on.

I've known Zach...well since birth! (Because he's my younger brother!) If anyone knows my brother and I, they know that we are very different from one another, but still very similar in our love for Star Wars, singing, acting, and bad jokes. Zach is not only my brother, but also my lifelong friend who really cares about the people in his life and always challenges me to be better.

I've known Tim since the summer of 2011, when we did a production from Fremont Civic Theater together. He's always been a fun and genuine friend to me throughout the years. In high school we shared classes together, and since then we've shared plenty of guy's game nights, and memorable road trips out of Canon.
