Question
What should I wear? Is there a dress code?
Answer
The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal/cocktail attire. Ladies should wear cocktail dresses, and the gentlemen should wear a suit and tie or a nice button down shirt.

Can I bring a date?
Answer
We have a strict guest list to stay on budget. Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We will only able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.

Are kids welcome?
Answer
While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us.

When is the deadline to RSVP? What if I don't RSVP in time?
Answer
The last day to RSVP is May 1, 2024. If we do not get an RSVP back by the date in which we have provided, it will be marked as a "No" and we will miss you celebrating with us. We have to provide a total guest count to the venue and cannot accept late RSVP's due to this. We hope you understand!

Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?
Answer
Our ceremony will be located outdoors. Cocktail hour and our reception is later located in the barn.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?
Answer
Our ceremony officially begins at 4:00pm! We suggest arriving by at least 3:30pm sharp so you can comfortably park, find your seat, and settle in before we say “I DO”!

Am I allowed to take photos at your ceremony?
Answer
We’ve asked a professional photographer and videographer to capture this special moment so that you can sit back, relax and enjoy it with us. Please turn off or silence all cell phones and cameras until after the ceremony. Our beautiful images will be available after the wedding. There will be plenty of photo opportunities at the reception!

What kind of food will be on the buffet for dinner?
Answer
As of right now we will be serving: -Apple cranberry salad with mixed greens, Gorgonzola cheese, apples, cranberries, and champagne vinaigrette dressing -Sirloin steak slices with a chimichurri sauce -Spinach & cheese stuffed chicken breast -Cheesy red pepper pesto penne (vegetarian) -Loaded mashed potatoes -Green beans Menu items have not been finalized and are subject to change.

What time will the reception end?
Answer
Our reception will end music by 9:30pm, where we will then exit and say our goodbyes!

Have you reserved blocks of rooms at a hotel?
Answer
We have reserved a block of rooms at The Country Inn and Suites by Radisson in Lehighton. Please call the hotel directly, press option 2 for the front desk, reference the Hertzog-Silfies Wedding, and book your reservation by May 1, 2024. For any questions please text Corinne at (484) 653-8455.

Is there an after party?
Answer
Yes! Please join us for a drink at the Riverwalk Saloon. We will be arriving around 10:45pm!

Do you have a shuttle service for hotel guests?
Answer
Yes! The shuttle will pick up hotel guests at approximately 3:15pm to go to the venue for the wedding. After the reception ends, the shuttle will pick up from the venue at 9:45pm and drop off at The Country Inn & Suites. At that time the shuttle will be available for the individuals who want to come to the after party. It will pick up at the Country Inn & Suites at 10:30pm and bring guests back from Riverwalck at 12:30am!
