When we both left home to start our new chapters abroad, we never expected that we'd end up falling in love with the flatmate down the hall. Our first encounter was move-in day, where a nervous Jackson ran into 'the other American', Cait with her 6 suitcases. Being the gentleman he is, he helped carry a single suitcase up the stairs, then ran to his room. Over the next few weeks, we started to build a great friendship, providing a sense of home to one another and lessening the loneliness that comes from moving abroad. Being the exact opposite of one another, Cait shared her sense of adventure and spontaneity while Jackson ensured that they always made it home safe (iykyk). Over many months of travels, nights at the pub, and the most encouraging and loving friendship, we started to fall in love. Through all the missed flights, messy Friendsgivings, doggy parenthood, and Cait's famous feminist rants, our love has only grown. The past seven years have been filled with adventures and we can't wait to share this one with all of you.
