Best friends from the moment they met, Trisha and Makenzi have always stuck closely to one another. From middle school volley ball, to high school volley ball, to getting brother pups from the same litter- to now! The two never allowed anyone to speak down about the other and had each other’s back no matter the consequences. Trisha has always been and will always be a part of the family. Trisha chose Makenzi as her Maid of Honor on her big day and it’s an honor for Makenzi to have Trisha stand next to her as Maid if Honor on her big day. Makenzi and Trisha hold 10 years of friendship going on forever; no matter where life takes them, they always remain close.

Beginning in high-school, life kept Cody and Rick pretty close to one another prior to the development of their friendship. They shared friend circles, even had the same employer for quite some time; all without ever having had a real opportunity to sit down and truly get aquatinted- but these two could only dodge this friendship for so long. Now they have a bond rooted in fun, honesty, openness, and trust. Some of such things are what gave Cody the courage to ask for Rick’s blessing in courting his little sister Makenzi in the first place! After all these years, and the big day, they can finally add family to that list!

Anna (or Nana) and Makenzi met when Anna and Rick (Makenzi’s brother) began dating many moons ago. Anna, now being Makenzi’s Sister in law, holds a truly special place in Makenzi’s heart. Makenzi was a chosen bridesmaid for Rick and Anna’s wedding and it’s only fitting that Anna will stand beside Makenzi as she marries Cody. Anna and Makenzi have always been there for one another- whether it be for a good gossip or just some sisterly advice. Anna is all Makenzi could have ever asked for in a sister.
Eli Richardson

Cody and Eli have been friends for well over a decade, but they’ve lived a few lifetimes worth of friendships at one another’s side. From challenging their physics teacher with daring feats of impossibility as lab partners in middle school (on multiple occasions)- to teaming up and creating award winning, and psychologically moving, cinematography in high school- these two formed,by all means, formed a dynamic duo. Never forgotten; are their days of skipping class to go fish, and float the bayou, or the countless hours spent lifting one another’s spirits when life got one of them down. More importantly they formed a life long friendship that would transcend time spent apart, and all the miles betwixt. Eli is a man that embodies friendship, and loyalty, that’s why he will with Cody.

Makenzi and Angelica's friendship stems all the way back to 5th grade. From the moment it started, the two taught each other so much. Angelica who made Makenzi flash cards so she could learn spanish, and Makenzi who taught Angelica all the ways of the outdoors. The two have had very memorable nights together that they will both cherish forever. Putting these two in a room they are bound to be in it for awhile, there is nothing they won't talk about. Makenzi is more than excited to share her big day with Angelica by having her stand at her side.

Where to start with Cody and Dustin: the trouble they avoided (and didn’t), the miles traveled, and the scars that they both earned together. They learned a variety of trust in each other through their trials. They might have been rascals to one another in their teens, but one never let the other down. The two grew into men alongside one another, and now they’ll stand together as Cody takes his next step in life with Makenzi.

Keely (aka KeeKee) has always been the light of any gathering. If Keely is around you are surely going to have a great time. Makenzi and Keely have been close friends for quite sometime and their relationship has only grown stronger with time. From middle school track- on through high school track, Keely and Makenzi tackled the high jump mat together on many occasions-representing their school alongside one another. It’s only fitting that Keely stands next to Makenzi on her big day, as she makes a big jump in her life’s adventures.
Robert Deluna

Robert Deluna, the definition of a good ole boy if there ever was one. He’s a man who would give you the shirt off his back if you needed one, and a shoe-in for a groomsman. He and Cody spent countless hours fishing with one another, and talking about life, and he was there to lend an ear in the weeks leading up to Cody gaining the courage to pull the trigger on a relationship that turned into the reason you’re all reading this!
Libby Hitt

The holder of Makenzi’s longest friendship, Libby has been a part of the extended family from kindergarten on. Living only two streets down, Makenzi and Libby truly ran the neighborhood, always willing to meet one another in the middle; regardless of whose house they were going to destroy with Bratz dolls that day. Libby and Makenzi have shared a special friendship for many years, and don’t see that changing anytime soon. Makenzi is overjoyed to have Libby with her as she marries her best friend.
Julio Galvan

An old acquaintance made into a new friend; Julio brought a new sense of laughter into Cody’s life. His friendly demeanor allows one to feel free to be themselves, and more open to simply appreciate life. Though their time together hasn’t been so long lived, yet, it has been bountiful in regards to quality experiences, and it promises only delightful anticipation for the future, something that Cody respects, and holds dear; Someone that Cody is proud to have stand with him on his big day!
Callie Stephens

From baby dolls- to build-a-bear’s -to Bratz dolls. As cousins, Makenzi and Callie were inseparable for many of their early years. Whether they were arguing over whose hair was washed or whose idea it was to bring the cooler full of lizards inside and leave the lid off, they still remained close regardless of the trouble they found together. Although life changes- and paths diverge, anytime Makenzi and Callie get back together it’s like they were never separated. Makenzi couldn’t be more thrilled to have Callie stand with her on her big day.
Marshall Erickson

Marshall and Cody go back, way back; hit your fore-head on the kitchen table while running through the house-back. Fishing buddies since they could use a boat, hunting buddies since they could hold a gun. They ran through the woods like heathens, and learned a lot about life throughout their relationship with one another. It only makes sense that the stand alongside one another on this next milestone.

Annistyn Ryan you have truly blessed this family beyond belief. You are the light in any room and your little laugh touches everyone’s soul. You are so fun to be around and we cherish every moment of these younger years with you. You and Baylee are going to be the most precious Flower Princesses there ever was.

Jake is cousin to Makenzi. The two of them didn’t know much of each other in their younger years living in different states. Growing up they connected via Facebook and have been the best of friends/cousins ever since. From Jake coming down to Texas to make memories and go on adventures, to meeting up in Tennessee to spend a long vacation in a place they (Cody, Jake, & Makenzi) had never been. Cody, Makenzi, & Jake are three peas in a pod when they’re around one another. Cody and Makenzi look forward to Jake wedding them on their big day!

Oh where to begin Mom. I don’t think there is another human being I am closer to or that I tell every little thing to. From grounding one other when the other fails to answer the phone on the first attempted call, to the many many laughs we share when you mix up your words and I get to tell everyone how silly you sounded, to being each other’s strongest supporters through all things in life, both thick and thin. There is absolutely no way I could take on this next milestone in my life without you. I can’t wait to celebrate my big day; having you right there with me. A font of knowledge, and comedic-relief alike, he made it his mission to guide Cody into becoming a well rounded individual; with both the patience to know that there is always more to learn, and the humility that affords one with the knowledge that there is always more to be thankful for, and happy about in life; both attributes that provide a foundation for love to be built upon, and strengthened. It is he who taught Cody to be a man who is worthy of true love.
