What About Parking?
Answer
Please copy and paste this link below into your browser, to view the parking map for the reception following the ceremony. (It won't work by simply tapping it). Our neighbors have graciously allowed us to park in their grass for the reception. We would appreciate the care you can take to protect their grass while parking. How Do I Get There?
Answer
The ceremony is at a church called “Friendship Church.” The address is: 1240 Beck Rd Canton, MI 48187. Directly following the ceremony there will be a cocktail hour and a reception to follow. The reception is being held outdoors at The Swisher residence: 7065 Peninsula Point Drive Whitmore Lake, MI 49189. The house is right off a little dirt road called “5 Mile Road”. You will turn down a long private drive and the reception location is the white house with black shutters all the way at the end of the drive. Follow the little signs/balloons along the way.

Is There a Dress Code?
Answer
Simply dress up in whatever makes you feel fabulous! The official dress code is "Dressy Casual". The wedding reception will be outside in the grass so high heels are not recommended. It may also be warm as it will be June. Bring some fun sunglasses if you think it may be sunny and comfy shoes for the outdoor grassy field reception!

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding?
Answer
We are having an “Unplugged” Ceremony and kindly ask that you please turn off and put away your cameras and phones, and enjoy this moment with us. Please do not take photos during the ceremony. But for the reception... Yes, Please do! What Happens After The Ceremony?
Answer
After the ceremony, the bridal party will be taking pictures nearby for about an hour. Guests can head straight to the reception location where we will be serving snacks and beverages

Will there be a bar?
Answer
YES!! While we will have an open bar, it will have LIMITED options and our bar tenders are graciously volunteering for the evening. Please drink responsibly.

What’s for FOOD!?!?
Answer
For dinner at the reception you can expect a choice of chicken or beef brisket served with BBQ sauces to add on top if desired. We have Mac n Cheese and smashed potatoes for sides! If you do not plan on eating please let us know so we can adjust the head count for food. 😉 Otherwise come ready for some amazing BBQ!
