Constructed in 1899, the Historic Lexington Courthouse has historically dominated its immediate vicinity, becoming a visual, architectural, and cultural landmark in the heart of Lexington, Kentucky. It has a great visitor center as well as Zims Cafe and The Thirsty Fox for food and drinks.

James E. Pepper Distillery District

This 25-acre property was home to the historic James E. Pepper Distillery, which began making bourbon in 1879. Today, you’ll find two working bourbon distilleries on the historic site, which serves as an anchor for the up-and-coming neighborhood. Plus, the easily walkable area combined with its diverse food, drink and gaming offerings makes the Distillery District one of Lexington’s most exciting hotspots.
