Things To Do

Here are a few of our favorite things to do in Colorado Springs and Manitou Springs: (1) Garden of the Gods: free; highly recommend a visit to these incredible red rock formations; easy hiking; arrive early to find parking. (2) Sun Water Spa (Sonya's fave): hot mineral springs spa; book early; sauna, hot tubs with views of Pike's Peak and cold plunge available. (3) Cog Railroad up Pike's Peak (4) High Tea at Glen Eyrie castle (5) Ebike Tour around Garden of the Gods/Glen Eyrie (6) Visit shops of Manitou Springs (7) Hike the Manitou Incline (warning, it's a killer) (8) Visit the Olympic Museum (9) Hike North Cheyenne Canon

Manitou Incline

Manitou Springs, CO 80829

We try to do this hike (2,700 steps, straight up!) once a summer. It is not for the feint of heart. Get an early start and plenty of water.

Garden of the Gods

Colorado Springs, CO 80904

This rock formation is a show stopper! Hike around the base or rent an e-bike for a longer experience. Best to arrive early for close in parking.

Cheyenne Mountain Zoo

4250 Cheyenne Mountain Zoo Road, Colorado Springs, CO 80906

This is very close to our home and it features an interactive giraffe feeding experience. Very hilly, so wear good hiking shoes. You must get tickets beforehand, especially on the holiday.

Sacred Grounds Coffee & Co.

1801 Cheyenne Blvd, Colorado Springs, CO 80906

One of our favorite places to get coffee and a snack after hiking Cheyenne canyon. You must check it out!
